<p>The element (10) has a bearing block (11) comprising a planar mounting surface (16) and fastening units for mounting at an inner side of a cover plate (4). A sliding latch (12) is supported on the bearing block in a sliding manner, and has a locking tongue. A sliding gear box moves the sliding latch from a lock position in which the locking tongue engages a module rail into a release position. A rotary drive is designed as a fastening screw (15) and operated through a hole (5) in the cover plate when the locking element is mounted. Threaded holes (17) are formed in the mounting surface.
