<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scratching, adhesion of dirt and scorch due to heat caused by cookware such as a pot on a top plate of an electromagnetic cooker, and to give comfortable cushion between the cookware and the top plate by preventing slip of the cookware at the time of cooking. <P>SOLUTION: The protection mat 10 for an electromagnetic cooker has a sheet-like base material 11 composed of glass fiber, and a first coating layer 12 and a second coating layer 13 composed of silicon rubber and formed on both sides of the base material 11.
