Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving contents. The apparatus includes: a network interface which receives first contents from a first transmission device and also receives second contents from a second transmission device; and a control unit which selects the first contents from the first contents and the second contents based on user input. The control unit: increases a first bandwidth, among bandwidths of the network interface, assigned to the first transmission device; and reduces a second bandwidth, among bandwidths of the network interface, assigned to the second transmission device. |
