<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing with sensors capable of performing load estimation calculation processing and obtaining a correct estimated load value without using the signal of a rotation sensor and wheel rotation speed information from a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: Multiple sensor units are arranged in a fixed side member between the outer member and inner member of a wheel bearing. The wheel bearing with sensors includes: load estimation means 34 having a first calculation processing part 35 for calculating a load to actuate on the wheel bearing by using only the average value A of sensor output signals of the sensor units, and a second calculation processing part 36 for calculating the load by using the average value A and amplitude value B of the sensor output signals; rotation speed evaluation means 37 for obtaining an evaluation value V expressing the rotation speed of a wheel on the basis of the sensor output signal; and estimated load output means 38 for synthesizing the two calculation processing results on the basis of the evaluation value V and outputting an estimated load value. The estimated load output means 38 synthesizes the calculation processing results with the use of a ratio r corresponding to an elapsed time from when the evaluation value V crosses with a predetermined threshold Vth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
