<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make both compatible in stability in straightly advancing travel and turning performance in a high level. <P>SOLUTION: The tire 1 for a motorcycle includes a carcass 6, and a belt layer 7 arranged on the outside of the carcass 6. Tread rubber 2G arranged outside the belt layer 7 includes crown rubber 8, and shoulder rubber 9 larger in rubber hardness than the crown rubber 8. The belt layer 7 is formed of a crown belt 10 positioned inside the crown rubber 8, and a shoulder belt 11 positioned inside the shoulder rubber 9. A metallic cord of the crown belt 10 is formed by intertwisting a plurality of metallic stranded wires having a stranded wire diameter of 0.10-0.25 mm. A metallic cord of the shoulder belt 11 is constituted of a metallic cord formed by intertwisting a plurality of metallic stranded wires having a stranded wire diameter of 0.06-0.10 mm which is smaller than that of the metallic stranded wire of the crown belt 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
