<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid recovery apparatus, capable of using for a long period without a liquid absorbing material clogging in a waste liquid container. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a cap 24 that receives wasted ink of ink discharged from a liquid ejection head 19 which can eject ink containing a fine particle KR; a separating device 40 that separates the fine particle KR contained in the wasted ink from the wasted ink received by the cap and removes the separated fine particle KR from the wasted ink, following the separation operation; and the waste liquid container 33 that has a wasted-ink absorbing material 35 for absorbing and recovering the wasted ink from which the fine particle KR is removed by the separating device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
