<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coating formed member excellent in wear resistance and a method for forming a hard coating. <P>SOLUTION: In a hard coating formed member 10 including a hard coating 4 on a base material 1, the hard coating 4 includes: an A layer 2 having a composition that satisfies Ti<SB POS="POST">a</SB>Cr<SB POS="POST">b</SB>Al<SB POS="POST">c</SB>Si<SB POS="POST">d</SB>Y<SB POS="POST">e</SB>(B<SB POS="POST">u</SB>C<SB POS="POST">v</SB>N<SB POS="POST">w</SB>) (wherein a, b, c, d, e, u, v and w respectively represent predetermined atomic ratios); and a B layer 3 having a composition that satisfies Ti<SB POS="POST">f</SB>Cr<SB POS="POST">g</SB>Al<SB POS="POST">h</SB>(B<SB POS="POST">x</SB>C<SB POS="POST">y</SB>N<SB POS="POST">z</SB>) (wherein f, g, h, x, y and z respectively represent predetermined atomic ratios). The A layer 2 and the B layer 3 are alternately laminated, and, when a laminated structure comprising a set of the A layer and the B layer is considered as one unit, the thickness of the one unit is 10-50 nm and the film thickness of the hard coating 4 is 1-5μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
