<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an optical detection device which attains high accuracy and is realized at low cost giving less load on an electronic apparatus, and to achieve the electronic apparatus with the optical detection device mounted thereon. <P>SOLUTION: An optical detection device 100 includes: a light to digital conversion circuit 102 which converts a current 110 obtained upon receipt of light at a light receiving element 101 to a first digital signal 111 and outputs it; a floating-point conversion circuit 107 which compresses the first digital signal 111 to floating-point data and outputs it as a second digital signal 112; a floating-point arithmetic circuit 108 which performs predetermined arithmetic on the second digital signal 112; and a floating-point to integer data conversion circuit 109 which converts a signal 113 indicating a result of arithmetic to a third digital signal 114 being integer digital data and outputs it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
