The invention relates to a coating booth (1) for coating workpieces (W), in particular for coating using coating powder. The coating booth (1) has a coating chamber (10) having a booth bottom (12) and having two opposing side walls (11a, 11b), wherein two workpiece passages (17a, 17b) arranged at opposite end areas of the coating chamber (10) are provided. The coating booth (1) is further equipped with a conveying device for transporting the workpieces (W) to be coated through the coating chamber (10) and at least one horizontally oriented vacuum slit (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d, 13e), arranged on the booth bottom (12), for suction-cleaning excess coating. To prevent excess coating powder from being deposited even more effectively, the coating booth (1) according to the invention is also equipped with at least one vertically extended suction channel (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d) having a vertically oriented vacuum slit (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) for suction-cleaning excess coating powder. |
