Provided is a method of manufacturing a coating composition for a low refractive layer, comprising the steps of: preparing a silica nanoparticle containing composition; mixing the silica nanoparticle containing composition with an alkoxy silane compound or a functional silane compound which is substituted with at least one selected from the group of C1-C18 alkyl, acryl, or glycidyl groups, to prepare a siloxane compound; and reacting, through a sol-gel method, the siloxane compound to prepare a mesh-shaped polymer siloxane compound. Also, provided is a coating composition for a low refractive layer manufactured by the method of manufacturing the coating composition for the low refractive layer. |
