<p>A modular building unit enclosing a habitable space comprises a surface, the unit being abuttable against a further modular building unit comprising a surface. The modular building unit further comprises a compressible seal located adjacent to the surface in order to seal the surface of the modular building unit against the surface of the further modular building unit in order to substantially prevent liquid from entering an interior of the unit or the further unit. The compressible seal may be hollow and be internally divided. The seal may form a drainage channel and may have a fixing strip through which adjacent modules can be bolted together. The seal may have a chevron cross section.</p> |
