<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor that prevents lubrication oil from leaking from a gap of an exterior plate provided to cover the outside of a truss. <P>SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor includes the truss, steps which are endlessly connected and circulate and move in the truss, handrail belts 28 which circulate and move along outer peripheries of parapets erected on both sides of the steps, and a belt driving device 50 which drives the handrail belts 28. The belt driving device 50 includes a plate-like frame 52 which is fitted to a base 18 erected above an upper beam 17 of the truss, and a driving roller 54 which is supported rotatably on the frame 52 through a bearing 58 and applies power to the handrail belts 28. The upper beam 17 of the truss is provided with a screen 64 which protrudes upward and is disposed outside in the width direction W1 of the truss from a fitting surface 52a of the frame 52 where the base 18 is fitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
