<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the loss of time in data processing when a terminal device fails during start-up, in an information processing system including a plurality of terminal devices, which have been divided into a plurality of terminal device groups each having two or more terminal devices, and a server device connected to the plurality of terminal devices through a network. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing system includes: a plurality of terminal devices 2 divided into a plurality of terminal device groups each having two or more terminal devices; and a server device 1 connected to the plurality of terminal devices 2 through a network. The server device 1 includes a first start-up means which executes start-up processing for processing information related to a first event upon detection of the first event, with respect to the first terminal group; and a second start-up means which terminates, when the start-up processing to the first terminal device group fails, the start-up processing to the first terminal device group, and executes start-up processing to the second terminal device group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
