Device for applying a glue track to a covering strip of a rod-shaped product of the tobacco processing industry

A device for applying a glue track to a covering strip (4) of a rod-shaped product in the tobacco processing industry is provided. The device is provided with a spraying nozzle (8) fixed to the covering strip (4) in a process of applying the glue track. The covering strip (4) passes by the spraying nozzle (8) in a strip speed of at least 100 m/min and is applied with a glue with an amount of (3 to 45) g/600m by utilization of the spraying nozzle (8). The spraying nozzle (8) is provided with a discharging port (2) with a rectangular cross section. The discharging port is oriented by a longer edge side (9) with an angle of 80-100 degrees, preferably perpendicular to the motion direction of the covering strip (4). A shorter edge side (10) of the discharging port (2) has a length of 0.1-0.6 mm, preferably 0.2-0.5 mm and particularly preferably 0.4 mm in the motion direction of the covering strip (4).
