The apparatus has an image sensor that is set with cyan-yellow-magenta-green (CYMG) mosaic filter for converting the color vector in the color space of each pixel into color image. A digital interface is configured to provide image data using pixels in which two values are used for describing the colors. An image processing section is configured to determine the missing value for describing the color of pixels. An independent claim is included for image processing method.
