In the present, provided is a composition including a compound with water, non-alpha starch, alpha starch, alkali materials and boron wherein weight by part of the non-alpha starch and the alpha starch is in the ratio of 99 to 1 to 60 to 40 wherein the starch based adhesive for the corrugated cardboard has an alpha starch with solubility for cooling water and good adhesive harmonized with other ingredients while securing reliability in a site for manufacturing the corrugated cardboard when being stored for a long time because the starch based adhesive has little change of viscosity deviations.
