<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erection method for a temporary bridge for being rapidly erected over a river or a moat to enable traffic of a vehicle and the like in times of disaster and emergency. <P>SOLUTION: A compression strut 1 is separated on a rod-by-rod basis, and a tension sling 2 and a gas tube 3 are folded in together to form a folded support. Subsequently, the folded support is conveyed to an erection site; a traction wire is hooked on either of anchor parts 4 of the folded support and wound up to unfold the folded support; the unfolded support is made rigid to be laid between this bank 21 and the opposite bank 22; and the anchor parts 4 at both ends of the support are fixed to ground surfaces on both the banks, respectively.
