The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for testing whether equipment works normally in case a pressure is applied to the inside of the equipment or not. According to an embodiment of the invention, provided is an equipment testing apparatus comprising: a closed circuit which passes through the inside of the equipment and in which a fluid circulates; an impeller for circulating the fluid in the closed circuit; a high pressure pump for injecting the fluid in the closed circuit; a valve which is provided between the high pressure pump and the closed circuit, is opened while the fluid is supplied to the closed circuit by the high pressure pump, and is closed while pressure of the closed circuit reaches a first threshold value.
