<p>Disclosed are a target detecting method of frequency modulation continuous wave (FMCW) radar and the FMCW radar for detecting a target. The detecting method based on the FMCW radar comprises: a step of determining a first detecting distance range of the FMCW radar; a step of determining a first band pass filter and a first band-pass sampling frequency for the first detecting distance range; a first filtering and sampling step of filtering a first signal received based on the first band pass filter and sampling the first signal filtered based on the first band pass sampling frequency and producing a second signal. The present invention has a high distance resolution regardless of distance without a loss of signal to noise ratio of a processed signal by using the target detecting method of the FMCW radar and the FMCW radar for detecting the target according to an embodiment of the present invention.</p> |
