<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the depth of field of an erecting equal-magnification lens array unit as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: An erecting equal-magnification lens array unit 13 has a first lens array 17 and a second lens array 18. The first lens array 17 has a plurality of first lenses 20. The first lenses are arranged in a first direction on the first lens array 17. The first direction is perpendicular to an optical axis of the first lens 20. The second lens array 18 has a plurality of second lenses. The optical axis of the second lens overlaps with the optical axis of the first lens. The second lenses are arranged in the first direction on the second lens array 18. The first lens 20 and the second lens of which the optical axes overlap with each other form an optical system. The optical system is an erecting equal-magnification optical system.
