The present invention relates to a method forming nanopores on metal thin films and, more specifically, a method for forming nanopores formed on metal thin films or a metal thin film deposited on a substrate, a plasmonic nanopore using the same and a manufacturing method thereof wherein the method for forming nanopores on the metal thin films comprises the steps of a) forming pores; b) covering the formed pores; and c) forming plasmonic nanopores.
