<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material powder for a cylinder liner capable of providing the cylinder liner having high hardness and excellent abrasion resistance even at high temperature, the cylinder liner having high hardness and excellent abrasion resistance at high temperature, and a method of manufacturing the cylinder liner.SOLUTION: The raw material powder for a cylinder liner used as a raw material for the cylinder liner contains a hard particle composed of AlOof 3 to 5 mass%, and the balance Al alloy powder mainly containing Al. The Al alloy powder is composed of Si of 18.5 to 21 mass%, Fe of 5 to 9 mass%, Mn of 0.7 to 3 mass%, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. A cylinder liner having high hardness and excellent abrasion resistance in a working temperature range (high temperature) is provided by making the content of Cu practically zero and increasing the content of Si and Mn than a conventional one.</p> |
