<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a permanent magnet rotary electric machine that is excellent in heat dissipation and is easily reduced in weight, and to provide a permanent magnet rotary electric machine provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor 1 of a permanent magnet rotary electric machine has: a rotor core 2 that has a plurality of laminated magnetic steel sheets; and a plurality of permanent magnets 3 that are axially embedded in the rotor core 2. The rotor core 2 has axial holes 24, each axially opening on an inner side of each permanent magnet 3. At two respective ends of the rotor core 2, a pair of end plates 4 is disposed that axially sandwiches the rotor core 2 therebetween. The end plates 4 are arranged so as to cover at least part of each permanent magnet 3 and expose at least part of an opening of each axial hole 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
