<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electric storage device to be kept fixed to a vehicle body or demounted from the vehicle body, depending on an external force acting on the electric storage device. <P>SOLUTION: A structure for mounting the electric storage device includes the electric storage device (1) which is mounted in a vehicle and which outputs energy for use in vehicle travel, and a bracket (70) which is fastened to the vehicle body and which is fastened to the electric storage device in a position away from the vehicle body. At least one of the electric storage device and the bracket has a protrusion (72).
