<p>A coating apparatus includes: a coating roller configured to apply coating liquid to a recording medium; a measuring roller configured to intermittently supply the coating liquid to the coating roller by being brought into contact with and being separated from the coating roller; a coating liquid pan configured to stores the coating liquid; and a roller cover configured to cover the measuring roller. When the measuring roller moves between a contact position where the coating roller and the measuring roller come into contact with each other and a separation position where the coating roller and the measuring roller are separated from each other, the measuring roller and the roller cover integrally operate while maintaining their relative positions, in a state where the coating liquid pan is fixed.</p> |
