FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to surgical devices, and is intended for hernioplasty. A device is made in the form of a rectangular synthetic mesh prosthesis from a non-absorbable material. Means of its fixation in the form of synthetic mesh strips are placed on its all or two opposite longer edges and perpendicular to them, and are made from absorbable fibres. The means of fixation can be initially represented separately, with being fixed during operation in a required quantity and in necessary places by various methods to the rectangular synthetic mesh prosthesis. The means of fixation in the form of synthetic mesh strips, located on the edges of the rectangular synthetic mesh prosthesis, increase in width from free ends to bases. Each means of fixation has a fixed hook from a biologically inert metal on a free end for fixation to the oppositely located strip or to the mesh prosthesis.
