<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam molded article which can secure a sufficient size without contraction of bubbles even when molding is performed in a condition of high temperature and/or long time. <P>SOLUTION: The foam molded article includes bubbles dispersed in a base resin. The bubbles are formed by thermal expansion of a thermally expandable microcapsule in which a shell containing a polymer includes a volatile liquid as a core agent. When the maximum expansion displacement Dmax of the thermally expandable microcapsule when heated in from 100°C to 300°C is 100%, and the temperature at which the maximum expansion displacement Dmax is shown is T<SB POS="POST">Dmax</SB>, the expansion displacement at T<SB POS="POST">Dmax</SB>+20°C is 80% or more, and the expansion displacement at T<SB POS="POST">Dmax</SB>+40°C is 70% or more. When the maximum expansion displacement Dmax' of the thermally expandable microcapsule when heated at a fixed temperature within the range of 160 to 180°C is 100%, and the time at which the maximum expansion displacement Dmax' is shown is t<SB POS="POST">Dmax'</SB>, the expansion displacement at the time of t<SB POS="POST">Dmax'</SB>+10 minutes is 95% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
