<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting that is excellent in designability while having a lock mechanism lockable and releasable from the outdoor side. <P>SOLUTION: A fitting includes a frame that is provided at an indoor-outdoor boundary and a sash that can close an opening communicating between the indoor side and the outdoor side by being pivotably supported by the frame. The frame has a sash opposing wall that is located closer to the indoor side than the outdoor side surface of the sash having closed the opening and faces the sash in the depth direction at the door end side of the sash. The sash has a projection that projects from the sash opposing wall to the outdoor side in a state that the opening is closed. The projection is provided with a moving member movable to the door end side of the sash in the width direction.
