A chair comprising a pair of adjustable brackets 4 mounted to opposite sides of the chair. Each bracket comprises a track 8 having mounted slidably therealong a runner 7. The runner is mounted to the back of the chair 5 and the track is mounted to part of the lower section of the chair 2. Each bracket further comprises a moveable member 11 selectively engageable between the track and the runner to secure the positions of the track and runner relative to one another. The effect is that the position of the seat back 5 can be adjusted relative to the lower section of the chair 2 on which the part that is sat on is carried. |
