<p>There is disclosed an opening label 20 for opening packaging 14, such as a cigarette pack, comprising a covering layer 22; a delaminatable layer 26 provided on the lower surface of the covering layer; and an adhesive 36 provided such that the label, including at least the delaminatable layer, can be adhered to a main packaging portion 42 over a packaging opening 16. In use, pulling the covering layer away from the main packaging portion causes the delaminatable layer to delaminate and the packaging opening to be exposed. There is also disclosed packaging including an opening label, and a method of opening packaging. The delaminatable layer may be coloured, and/or upon delamination of the delaminatable layer an acoustic noise may be generated.</p> |
