PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a rotation angle position detector capable of outputting a signal when a detection object is arranged in an optionally set rotation angle position.SOLUTION: The rotation angle position detector 1 comprises an absolute encoder 10 for outputting sn absolute rotation angle position of a camshaft 105 (the detection object), an input connector 7 for accepting input of a set command, a control part 11 for outputting the signal when the absolute rotation angle position is included in a detection rotation angle range by setting the detection rotation angle range based on the set command and an output connector 8 for outputting the signal to an external part. Since the detection rotation angle range can be optionally set by the set command, the signal can be outputted when the camshaft 105 is arranged in the optional rotation angle position. |
