In one embodiment, a method includes displaying by a mobile computing device of a first user a notification of an incoming call. The notification identifies a second user associated with a source of the incoming call. The method further includes detecting by the mobile computing device user input provided during the display of the notification of the incoming call. In response to the user input, one or more previous communications between the first and second users is determined by the mobile computing device. The method further includes displaying by the mobile computing device the one or more previous communications.

1. A method comprising:
detecting by a mobile computing device of a first user an incoming call; in response to detecting the incoming call, displaying by the mobile computing device a notification of the incoming call in a first interface during an incoming call period, wherein the notification identifies a second user associated with a source of the incoming call, wherein the first user and the second user are both represented by nodes connected in a social graph, wherein the notification provides social context information about the second user, and wherein the incoming call period begins when the incoming call is detected and ends when the incoming call is terminated; detecting by the mobile computing device user input provided during the display of the notification of the incoming call; and in response to detecting the user input and during the incoming call period:
determining by the mobile computing device one or more previous communications between the first and second users; anddisplaying by the mobile computing device the one or more previous communications in a second interface, wherein the one or more previous communications comprises at least one of a previous message sent by the first user to the second user and a previous message sent by the second user to the first user.
