1. A method comprising:
receiving a downlink data packet over a first wireless link using a first wireless protocol during communications over a second wireless link using a second wireless protocol, the first and second wireless protocols being different; responsive to receiving the downlink data packet during communications over the second wireless link using the second wireless protocol:
calculating a reduced power level for acknowledgement of the downlink data packet such that the reduced power level is less than a normal power level used to transmit uplink data packets over the first wireless link; andsending an acknowledgement packet over the first wireless link using the reduced power level, the acknowledgement packet sent during the communications over the second wireless link; and receiving a second downlink data packet over the first wireless link and responsive to determining that no communications are ongoing over the second wireless link, sending a second acknowledgement over the first wireless link using the normal power level used to transmit uplink data packets over the first wireless link. |
