The present invention relates to an electrical contact material comprising: (i) an alloy of nickel (Ni) and one or more kinds of metal selected from the group consisting of silver (Ag), copper (Cu) and gold (Au); and (ii) carbon nanotubes coated with silver nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes plated with silver, or silver nanowires. Or the present invention relates to an electrical contact material and a manfuacturing mehtod thereof, wherein the electrical contact material comprises: (i) one or more kinds of metal selected from the group consisting of silver (Ag), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni) and gold (Au); (ii) metal oxide which is cadmium oxide, indium oxide, tin oxide, zinc oxide, or a mixture thereof; and (iii) carbon nanotubes coated with silver nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes plated with silver, or silver nanowires. Provided are an electrical contact material having the content of high-priced silver (Ag) reduced and having excellent electrical and mechanical properties; and a manufacturing method thereof. |
