Provided is a method for producing a zinc manganese oxide. The method for producing a zinc manganese oxide according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: producing a mixed solution by mixing a metal salt including Zn and a metal salt including Mn in a solvent; preparing sodium hydrogen carbonate, a sodium carbonate carbonate solution, or a sodium hydroxide solution; preparing an ammonia solution; producing a precipitate by mixing the mixed solution and ammonia solution with the sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate solution, or sodium hydroxide solution; and separating and drying the precipitate; and heating the dried precipitate.
