Disclosed is a method for processing a packet in order to prevent a duplicate packet. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for processing a packet comprises the steps of: receiving one among packets transmitted between a first host and a second host; comparing the present packet with storage packets which is received before the present package and is stored, and deciding whether the present packet is a first type packet including a payload value which is identical with one among the storage packets, or a second type packet received after the first type packet as a packet related to the first type packet; and deleting the present packet selectively based on the decision.
