A PLASTIC INJECTION MOLD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLYMER SUBSTRATE

The present invention relate to production of an injection mold and to injection-molding of a polymer substrate by using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method of producing a polymer substrate having a smooth surface and a polymer substrate with the same applied thereto, wherein a mold core is produced by using a substrate that is hard like a silicon wafer (Si wafer), a quartz substrate, or a glass substrate but may be easily broken by external shock, and the polymer substrate is produced without a separate process by using an injection mold having the mold core mounted thereon. The injection mold of the present invention comprises: a plate-shaped mold core; a buffering member put and mounted on one surface of the plate-shaped mold core; a plate-shaped mold cavity; a face mold for fitting the plate-shaped mold core; and a face mold facing the face mold for fitting the plate-shaped mold, and fitting the plate-shaped mold cavity, wherein a silicon wafer (Wi wafer), a quartz substrate, and a glass substrate are applied to the plate-shaped mold core and plate-shaped mold cavity. When the polymer substrate is produced by applying a silicon wafer (Wi wafer), a quartz substrate, and a glass substrate, the mold core is prevented from being broken through a shock buffering and mold force distributing effect by means of the buffering member in a mold finishing step during an injection molding process. Even when a pattern polymer substrate is produced, separate metal stamp production is skipped through an injection molding method using directly patterning on the mold core, thereby simplifying injection molding processes and reducing costs.
