<p>Provided is a thermal reduction device for magnesium, comprising: a reaction pipe in which briquette as a raw material is accommodated inside and a reduction reaction takes place; a heating furnace installed outside the reaction pipe and heating the reaction pipe; a condenser arranged at the top of the reaction pipe, and depositing and collecting magnesium from metal reduction steam generated in the reaction pipe; a cover opening and closing an upper end of the reaction pipe; and a baffle pipe arranged at the bottom of the condenser in the reaction pipe, inducing the metal reduction steam transferred to the condenser to an internal surface of the condenser, and blocking radiant heat supplied to the condenser. Accordingly, productivity of magnesium can be increased, and magnesium crown of high quality can be obtained. Also, risk of the outbreak of fire caused by radiant heat can be lowered.</p> |
