The present invention proposes a method for activating secondary carriers in addition to the primary carrier in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation technology. Through the present invention, the UE sorts the operations for activating an SCell into two groups that are executed at different timings, thereby facilitating communication without malfunctioning.

1. A method in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation, the method comprising:
receiving, by a terminal, a control message for activating a secondary cell from a base station in a first sub-frame; transmitting, by the terminal, first channel status information (CSI) of the secondary cell in a second sub-frame that occurs 8 sub-frames after the first sub-frame; and transmitting, by the terminal, second CSI for the secondary cell no later than a third sub-frame, wherein if the first CSI of the secondary cell is invalid, the first CSI of the secondary cell is set to 0, and wherein if the first CSI of the secondary cell is valid, the valid first CSI of the secondary cell is selected from 1 to 15 based on actual measurement of the secondary cell.
