PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of preventing destination information of an erroneous content from being registered in an address book.SOLUTION: An MFP 101 capable of receiving destination information indicating a folder within a file server 103 from a user and registering the destination information in the address book determines, between receiving the destination information and registering the destination information in the address book, whether it is possible or not to connect to the file server 103 by using the destination information, and notifies the user of the result of the destination. |
