PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety fence with excellent aesthetic appearance in which vertical dimensions of its protective sheet can be easily changed, and the stepless adjustment of the protective sheet is possible, and which poses little risk even to infants. ! SOLUTION: A safety fence 100 includes a frame body 10 having a pair of upper and lower horizontal members 11 and 12, and a protective sheet 30 fitted to the pair of upper and lower horizontal members 11 and 12. The pair of upper and lower horizontal members 11 and 12 are configured so that the vertical interval can be changed from a predetermined minimum interval to a predetermined maximum interval. At least part of the protective sheet 30 is formed of an expandable/contractible material, and by the expansion and contraction of the part formed of an expandable/contractible material, the vertical dimensions can be changed from the minimum interval to the maximum interval. !
