<p>A blind spot alarm system according to the present invention comprises: a navigation unit to obtain a current location of a vehicle and provide situation information about a prescribed situation if the current location is within the prescribed situation or in the vicinity of the prescribed situation; a signal processing unit to perform a prescribed signal processing job on a radar signal from a radar antenna to output a vehicle list of identified vehicles, determine signal processing parameters for the signal processing job according to the situation information provided from the navigation unit, and use the signal processing parameters to perform the signal processing job; and an alarm determination unit to determine whether any vehicle in the vehicle list satisfies predetermined alarm conditions.</p> |
