PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of achieving both of a sweep rate and uniformity of penetration depth. ! SOLUTION: The light source device to be used for an optical coherence tomographic imaging apparatus includes a resonator composed of one mirror and the other mirror 155 comprising slit mirrors 143 arranged at regular intervals on a circumference of a disc 140 and opposing to the one mirror; and the light source device is configured to disperse wavelengths of light from an optical amplification medium in the resonator by use of a dispersion element 151, to condense the dispersed light by a condensing optical system 150 onto a plane where the slit mirrors of the disc are formed, to select wavelengths by the slit mirrors, and to sweep the selected wavelengths by rotating the disc. A monochromatic spot diameter ωo (full width at a half maximum FWHM) of the light condensed onto the disc is regulated in relation of a plane vibration amplitude dmax that is a dynamic parallelism |
