PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, a medical treatment system, and an image processing method capable of highly accurately determining a point indicating a position within a target displayed in a display image using a low-resolution display image.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a first acquisition unit, a second acquisition unit, a first image generation unit, a first point acquisition unit and a first correction unit. The first acquisition unit acquires a first transparent image. The second acquisition unit acquires a second transparent image. The first image generation unit generates a first display image from the first transparent image, and generates a second display image from the second transparent image. The first point acquisition unit acquires a first indication point indicated on the first display image, and acquires a first corresponding point on the second display image. The first correction unit searches an image similar to an image including a position corresponding to the first indication point on the first transparent image, on the second transparent image, and corrects a position corresponding to the first corresponding point on the second transparent image to a position of the image similar to the image including the position corresponding to the first indication point on the first transparent image. |
