PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary joint capable of effectively preventing malfunction and impact shock to a seal member by stabilizing relative movement of a fixed portion and a rotating portion, suppressing leakage of a fluid to the external, and having excellent workability in an assembling work.SOLUTION: In a rotary joint 1 in which a rotating portion 1a provided with an axial rotary flow channel, mounted on a rotating shaft, and axially moved forward and backward, and a fixed portion 1b provided with an axial fixed flow channel, are coaxially disposed, a stopping mechanism M for restricting the relative rotation around a shaft to a fitting hole 7a of a fixed shaft portion 8a, is disposed with a locking portion for axially locking a rotary seal portion disposed on the rotating portion 1a and a fixed seal portion disposed on the fixed portion 1b while permitting the relative rotation, and keeping a state that two seal surfaces of a rotary seal portion and a fixed seal portion are opposed to and kept into contact with each other. |
