PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivot assembly bearing that can be manufactured at lower cost than ever before and be mass-produced while maintaining component accuracy. ! SOLUTION: A pivot assembly bearing 10 comprises: a shaft 40 that is provided in a stationary state; and a metallic sleeve 20 that is rotatably supported by an outer periphery of the shaft 40 through a ball bearing (rolling bearing) 30. In the bearing 10, direct contact by the ball bearing 30 forms multiple projections 21 on an inner peripheral surface of the sleeve 20 in a dotted state so as to determine an axial position of the ball bearing 30. Reduced manufacturing costs and enhanced mass productivity are realized because the sleeve 20 can be formed by drawing and the projections 21 can be formed by pressing. !
