PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front converter lens having high optical performance in water, an imaging device including the front converter lens, and a method for manufacturing the front converter lens. ! SOLUTION: The front converter lens is a detachable lens to be used by attaching to an object side of a master lens. The front converter lens includes a negative lens that is disposed on a side closest to an object and a positive lens that is arranged on a side closest to an image, and satisfies a condition of 1.00≤ν2-ν1≤20.00, where ν1 represents a dispersion value of a glass material of the negative lens, and ν2 represents a dispersion value of a glass material of the positive lens. !
