<p>The present invention relates to an adjustable bed inciuding a bed frame (1) and a bed base with an arrangement of slats resting on the bed frame (1) when the bed is in a fiat position, at least one profile frame (20, 21) located below the bed base, an adjustment mechanism which is connected with the at least one profile frame (20, 21), the adjustment mechanism being adapted to raise said at least one profile frame (20, 21) so that it will lift the bed base from the bed frame (1) and the at least one profile frame determining the profile of the bed base. Thebedframeincludesafirstframeelement(13) and a second frame element (14), the second frame element being mounted on a chassis (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) and the first frame element being rotata ble connected to the second frame element. The bed bottom includes a number of slats (2) and resilient slat holders, each slat holder holding at least an end of a slat (2), the slat holders being slideable fastened to the bed frame (1).</p> |
