PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter capable of being more downsized by balancing a temperature rise of a switching element with that of a reflux diode.SOLUTION: A power converter comprises: an overcurrent determination circuit 4 for determining presence/absence of an overcurrent on the basis of detection signals from current sensors 5a to 5c for detecting output currents to loads; and a control circuit 7 which controls switching of switching elements 1 and turns off all switching elements 1 after a lapse of preset time after the overcurrent determination circuit 4's overcurrent determination. The control circuit 7 outputs an OFF instruction for turning off a switching element 1 adjacent to a reflux diode 3 through which reflux current is flowing, to the switching element 1, during reflux operation except dead time in a period until turning off all switching elements 1 after the overcurrent determination circuit 4's overcurrent determination. |
