PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing gold powder with a high bulk density, by improving handling efficiency of gold powder and equipment efficiency in a melting step, improving operation and equipment efficiency in a reduction step by preventing adhesion of gold to an inner wall of a reductive reaction tank or a mixer, and achieving efficient and economical production.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing gold powder includes: bringing diethylene glycol dibutyl ether of an organic solvent into contact with a leached liquid made by leaching gold as tetrachloroauric acid ion so as to extract tetrachloroauric acid ion; washing the tetrachloroauric acid ion-containing organic solvent by hydrochloric acid; mixing the organic solvent after washing and an oxalic acid-containing aqueous solution to bring into contact with each other; and reducing the tetrachloroauric acid ion. When mixing the tetrachloroauric acid ion-containing organic solvent and the oxalic acid-containing aqueous solution to contact each other, a chloride ion concentration in the aqueous solution is adjusted to 60 g/L-90 g/L, and reduction processing is performed after back extracting the tetrachloroauric acid ion into the aqueous solution so as to generate the gold powder with a high bulk density. |
